Tutorial Intro
What is Find a Space?
Find a Space is a tool to help students identify and location study spaces within your buildings or on your campus.
Many larger universities have a tool to help students identify quiet or collaborative study spaces, spaces with whiteboards or display screens. Perhaps you think this is out of reach on your campus, but if you have some access to Drupal and some basic Drupal skills, this tutorial can walk you through how to build a tool on your campus to help your students identify and find study spaces that support their needs.
Our tool is called Find a Space, and this tutorial will show how to build something similar. There are numerous other universities that have similar tools, though, and I encourage you to look through other examples as you decide how to meet the specific needs of students at your location.

What you'll need to build your own
This tutorial will describe in some detail how to build your own Find a Space in Drupal. This may be useful in terms of concepts if you use a different content management system, but the details will only be useful if you are using Drupal.
